Tammy Bogner was my Personal Trainer at the North Shore Athletic
Club from December through April of 2008. I decided to hire a
Personal Trainer, because my wedding was six months away. I was
weary about hiring a Personal Trainer, because the last Personal
Trainer I had in New York worked me so hard, that I fainted after my
work out and could not walk for one week. I left my first meeting
with Tammy knowing that she was highly qualified for the job. I was
very impressed that she had a degree in fitness and right away I
knew we would get along. I looked forward to meeting with her twice
per week, because she was so much fun to be around and she was very
energetic. She made my workouts fun, but also pushed me to work very
hard, harder than I ever though I could work.
Not only did Tammy become my Personal Trainer, she also was my
Nutritionist at no extra cost. We talked about my eating habits and
she really changed the way I think about food. She preached
lifestyle changes instead of dieting. She taught me to not to be
afraid of food and to eat frequently in small portions. She went
above and beyond the scope of her job to make it possible for me to
reach my goals.
In April, I moved to New Hampshire to pursue a career at the
American Cancer Society, which meant I had to leave Tammy. Tammy is
an amazing Personal Trainer! She not only taught me about health,
fitness and exercise, she taught me about life. Tammy cared about me
and she wanted me to reach my goals. She was an unbelievable
motivator and I would highly recommend her as a Personal Trainer to
anyone. Tammy, thanks for everything, you are the best!

Before signing up for "LOST IT AT THE GYM" I was at a constant
struggle
with my weight. I found myself starting several "diet programs" only
to find myself giving up. Once I signed up for LOST IT AT THE GYM I
made a commitment to stick it out, as I had done so several times in
the past. However, this time was different; I was given nutritional
advice from Lori Laviolette. Lori's knowledge in nutrition along
with her compassion enabled me to keep it up, nothing was more
reassuring knowing that I could always find her door open to get
that little boost of encouragement. Along with the several cardio,
Pilates, Bodypump and yoga classes, I was well on my way to my
fitness goals.
